Mario - Closer {Music Video}

Relationship dynamics and sexual tension are visualized in abstract forms. I worked “closely” with Mario on this project to develop a unique creative look that fit his vision. The animated music video for MARIO’s new single “CLOSER” represents a fresh, artistic approach to MARIO's visuals. CLOSER touches on the dark yet beautiful path of getting closer to someone you are deeply attracted to. This is expressed in the music video through a combination of suggestive visuals and shadow play. MARIO and a sexy dancer are represented as silhouettes, dynamically intercut with symbolic imagery that suggests attraction and intensity, tension and sensuality for a provocative, moody, visually striking, and unexpected experience.
